Dr.Gautham is from an eminent physicians family and the second generation physician from a family who have dedicated their lives for the well-being of the society. He received his medical School MBBS degree from the prestigious NTR University Andhra Pradesh. He completed his MD in Internal medicine from Devaraj urs University , Bengaluru ,Karnataka. Then he worked as an assistant professor in the Department of General medicine at Malla reddy medical college, Hyderabad.
During his teaching tenure, he developed an extraordinary passion for the neuro sciences and pursued his career in the field of Neurology at Manipal University at Kasturba medical College, which is rated as one of the top 5 medical colleges in India. During his training he worked with many experts in various fields of neurology such as Dr.Kurupath Radhakrishnan Garu, Dr.Madhusudhan Garu , Dr.Jayachandran, Dr. Vijay Chandra and Dr.S.P.Gorthi Garu.
His interest in neuroscience continued to grow which took him to the University of Nebraska in USA ,where he did his visiting scholars program in the field of Epilepsy and Neuromuscular medicine .There he worked with Mayo Clinic trained staff including but not Limited to Dr.Pariwat Thaisetthawatkul, Dr.Ezequiel Piccione,Dr. Danish Bhatti,Dr. Olga Taraschenko,Dr.Swetha Pedavally. Dr.Gautham is not only a good clinician he also presented his research in the field of Neuro immunology, stroke at national conferences and chaired sessions in eminent Neurology conferences.His interests in the field of neurology are mainly headaches, Neuromuscular medicine ,strokes, epilepsy, and multiple other neurological disorders.
